Ms. Holifield was Editor in Chief, Journal of the Legal Profession in 2005 until 2006. She authored “Taking Law School One Course at a Time: Making Better Lawyers by Using a Focused Course Study in Law School,” 30 J. Legal Profession 129, Spring 2006. She also authored “Avoiding Bad Faith Claims for the Insurance Professional,” NBI Seminar, Bad Faith Insurance Claims in Alabama, November, 2007, Mobile, Alabama, and “Calculation of Awards,” Sterling Education Seminar, Worker’s Compensation Law & Practice, July 2013, Mobile, Alabama. Ms. Holifield was a member of Bench and Bar Honor Society. She also participated in Phi Delta Phi and held office as Treasurer in 2005 until 2006. She is currently a member of the Mobile Bar Association, Alabama State Bar, Florida State Bar, and Mobile Bar Association Women Lawyers. Ms. Holifield is also a volunteer with the South Alabama Volunteer Lawyer Program and the Sight Chair for the Lions Club of Mobile.

RECENT SIGNIFCANT RESULTS
- Successfully defended mother against father’s appeal of a custody order in mother’s favor, where father argued that the mother’s motion to modify custody was untimely. Roberts v. Roberts, 2024 WL 3545932, 2024 Ala. Civ. App. LEXIS 84 (Ala. Civ. App. July 26, 2024).
- Obtained a judgment in favor of the Plaintiffs in excess of $11 million dollars, which was affirmed on appeal. Eli Global, LLC v. Cieutat, 2023 Ala. LEXIS 134, 2023 WL 8291704 (Ala. Dec. 1, 2023).
- Obtained complete dismissal of claims exceeding $65 million, which was affirmed on appeal. SLF Holdings, LLC v. Unifi Fiber Holdings, Inc. et al, 499 F. Supp. 3d 49 (D. Del. 2020), aff’d on appeal, 2022 U.S. App. LEXIS 22819 (3d Cir. August 17, 2022).
- Obtained complete dismissal of claims against bank, which was affirmed on appeal.
